I was born and raised in Rhode Island, then lived in NYC for ten years before settling down in Sarasota.
I met Angela, real estate photographer and previous owner of Visual Edge Photography, through a mutual friend. I learned the ins and outs of real estate photography and the rest is history. I took over Visual Edge, now Shyla Rose Home, in 2024 and I'm so grateful our paths crossed!
When I'm not taking photos, I'm enjoying the beach, gardening, and spending time with my husband Casey, daughter Cece, dog Stanley, and cat Henry.

Hi, I’m Serena! Born and raised in sunny Sarasota, FL. I’m a beach lover at heart, but there’s nothing like a mountain getaway to refresh my soul. I’m an artist obsessed with finding color and creativity in the everyday. When I’m not dreaming up my next project, you’ll find me nose-deep in a book, bingeing true crime podcasts, or hanging out with my husband and our fur babies, who totally run the house.
